What is SDS and NON SDS in IELTS?

These  are one kind of categories in IELTS band criteria.   The full form of SDS category is Student Direct Stream and NON SDS mean the students who are not eligible for SDS category. Those students who are able to secure 6.0 bands in each module with overall 6.0 bands those are eligible for SDS category and those students who are not able to secure 6.0 in each that means 5.5 in any one or more than one module are directly comes under NON SDS category. There is little difference while applying visa file under these categories. 1. SDS category student has to wait for only 45 days for the final decision of IRCC while NON SDS               student has to wait for 60 days for the decision. 2. There is little risk in applying under NON SDS, again that does not mean the student will always           gets rejection 😆. Many students gets visa even though they are under NON SDS. 3.
